ForHome Organising grew from a lifelong passion for creating calm, functional spaces.
Long before this became a business, organising was simply part of who I am — I’ve always loved decluttering, refreshing rooms, rearranging furniture, and finding better ways to make a home feel lighter and easier to live in.
Friends and family would often joke that I was “always having a clear‑out,” but for me, it was never just tidying — it was creating clarity, calm, and a sense of control.
Time for change
After more than 26 years working in project management and transformation across the UK and globally, I found myself at a turning point following redundancy. That pause gave me the space to reflect on what truly energises me: helping people feel more supported, more in control, and more at ease in their own homes.
Throughout my career, communication, empathy, and problem‑solving have been at the heart of everything I’ve done. I’ve spent decades listening to people, understanding their challenges, and designing solutions that genuinely make life easier. Those same skills now shape every organising project I take on — because organising isn’t just about tidying; it’s about understanding the person, the story, and the emotions behind the space.
